How To Buy Gold (FOB and CIF Process)

Submit LOI / ICPO
The buyer submits a Letter of Intent (LOI) or Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order (ICPO) stating the quantity, price, and terms of purchase.

Seller Issues FCO and Contract
The seller provides a Full Corporate Offer (FCO). Once accepted, both parties sign a Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) to formalize the transaction.

Verification and Due Diligence
The buyer verifies the seller’s documents and may conduct due diligence. This includes confirming gold availability, export permits, and seller legitimacy.

Payment and Delivery (FOB or CIF)
FOB (Free On Board): Buyer completes payment after inspection at the seller’s location or refinery before shipment. CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight): Seller ships the gold to the buyer’s destination with insurance and freight included after agreed payment terms.
